Multiple Entrants may not share the same email address. Entries (or any portion thereof) that are incomplete, generated by artificial intelligence, script, macro, or other automated means, or that subvert the entry process, may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Proof of submission of an Entry does not constitute proof of delivery or entry during the Contest Period. All Entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of any Entrant, the relevant Entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter and they must comply with these Official Rules. The Entry must be Entrant’s own original work product, may not have been previously published, and may not have won precious awards.

The Entry must NOT contain material that, in the sole discretion of Sponsor:

Each Entrant agrees that the Released Parties are not responsible for any unauthorized use of Entries by third parties. At any time during the Contest, even if the Entry is already approved, and/or is being taken into consideration for a prize, if Sponsor determines that a Entry is not in compliance with any of the Submission Guidelines or these Official Rules or that Entrant cheated or submitted an Entry that is not completely their own work, the Entry may be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion and will not be eligible to win a prize.

5. CONTEST JUDGING: Contest Judging will consist of two (2) phases: (i) Equation Answer Judging, and (ii) Essay Judging. Only eligible Entries that include a correct answer to the equation and have shown their work in obtaining that answer in a form satisfactory to the qualified judge(s) (all in their sole and absolute discretion) will advance to the Essay Judging Phase to be judged by qualified judges using the criteria set forth below.

Phase 1 – Equation Answer Judging:

  1. Does the Entry include the correct answer to the equation and has the Entrant shown their work in obtaining that answer in a form satisfactory to the Judges (all in their sole and absolute discretion).

Phase 2 – Essay Judging

All Essays submitted as part of the eligible Entries that pass Phase 1 will be judged based on the following criteria:

  1. Originality– 50%

  2. Passion for Dunkin’ – 50%

The entrant who submitted the Entry receiving the highest score will be deemed the potential winner. In the event of a tie, a tie-breaker judge will judge the tied Entries using the above stated criteria to determine the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to not award the prize if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive any eligible and qualified Entries. All decisions of the Sponsor and judges are final and binding. Sponsor will not reveal the judging scores for any Entry; however, following the conclusion of the Contest Period, Sponsor may post the solution to the equation. Judge’s and Sponsor’s decisions are final with respect to all matters relating to the Contest.

6. PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): “Free Coffee for a Year” awarded as a promo code (“Code”) that once entered into the winner’s Dunkin Rewards account is redeemable for one (1) free medium hot or iced coffee (excluding espresso beverages, cold brew and nitro cold brew) (“Eligible Coffee”) every day for the next 365 days (“Prize Redemption Period”) (ARV: $1,000) and one (1) sponsor-specified autographed merchandise ($500.). Total value of all prizes to be awarded in the Contest is One Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.) Actual value may vary based on number of Eligible Coffees ordered and the types of Eligible Coffees ordered during the Prize Redemption Period. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not awarded. For the avoidance of doubt, if winner fails to order to an Eligible Coffee on any day during the Prize Redemption Period, that Eligible Coffee will be forfeited. Winner cannot skip days and order multiple Eligible Coffees in a single day. Winner can only receive one (1) Eligible Coffee for free on any day during the Prize Redemption Period. Additional terms and conditions may apply. Code is one-time use. If Code is not redeemed by 3/1/26 it will be void and winner will forfeit the prize. If winner is not already a member of the Dunkin’ Rewards loyalty program, they must enroll in order to redeem the prize. Dunkin’ Rewards account is free to open and subject to the loyalty program terms and conditions located at https://www.dunkindonuts.com/en/dunkinrewards/dunkin-rewards-terms-and-conditions, including any expiration, redemption, and account status requirements.

Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. Winner may not substitute, assign or transfer prize, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or potion thereof) of comparable or greater value. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with acceptance and use of the prize. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

7. PRIZE WINNER NOTIFICATION/VERIFICATION: The potential winner must comply with these Official Rules in order to receive the prize and be confirmed as an official winner. Potential winner may be required to complete and return via email, a declaration of eligibility and liability and publicity release, except where prohibited (“Declaration”) within 48 hours of Dunkin’s attempted delivery. Potential winner must attest that accepting a prize will not be in any violation of their employer or union contracts. If in any instance, notification attempt(s) are returned as undeliverable, or the potential winner fails to respond within the required time period, does not return all required documents within the specified time period, or is found to have not complied with these Official Rules or is otherwise not eligible, the prize will be forfeited and a runner-up will be notified.

8. PUBLICITY GRANT AND LICENSE/USE OF ENTRIES: By submitting an Entry, each Entrant waives all moral rights in and to the Entry and grants to Sponsor and its licensees, successors, designees, and assigns an irrevocable, perpetual, unlimited, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to reproduce, distribute, display, exhibit, exploit, perform, edit, create derivatives of, and otherwise use the Entry and all elements of such Entry, together with any other material, and the name, city and state of residence, voice, image and/or likeness of Entrant, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, in any manner, in whole or in part, worldwide, without compensation or notification to, or permission from, Entrant or any third party, for any purpose whatsoever, including without limitation, for purposes of advertising or trade.
